EMSCAN

EMSCAN showcased their real-time low-cost desktop chambers that are efficient and cost-effective, eliminate the need for an anechoic chamber for pre-compliance and performance tests and offer accelerated time-to-market at the IEEE EMC in Ottawa between July 26-28. EMSCAN solutions are 1/10th of a chamber・fs cost and operate 100 times faster.

The EMxpert family helps you to rapidly diagnose and solve EMC/EMI problems in a single design cycle. It provides unique pre- and post-EMC compliance testing that images real-time emissions. EMSCAN exhibited the world・fs fastest high-resolution EMC scanner, ERX+. With the ERX+ you can diagnose and debug EMC/EMI problems between 150 kHz and 8 GHz with seven different levels of resolution (120 microns - 7.5 mm).

The RFxpert family characterizes antennas without the need for a chamber. It provides far-field patterns, bisections, EIRP and TRP in less than a second. Novel near-field results, including amplitude, polarity and phase give insights into the root causes of antenna performance challenges and help troubleshoot far-field radiation patterns. EMSCAN will provide information about the RFxpert OTA Phantom Head+Hand Test Kit which allows the mobile device manufacturers & wireless service providers to measure TRP of their devices in seconds on their lab-bench

Ophir RF

Ophir RF had a high interest in some existing power amplifiers like these very popular power amps:
Model 7034, 10kHz to 400MHz, 400 watt!
Model 5265,  0.7GHz to 4.2GHz, 200 watt solid state! This IS the replacement for the problematic TWTA!    One was recently delivered to a local Test Lab in Chicago!  It performs nicely in their anechoic chambers as well as their mode-stirred RF shielded enclosure.  Also they received the new 400 watt, 10kHz to 400MHz power amplifier as well.

Ophir EMC

Ophir EMC presented their new lines of LISN's.  Also a hit is their  OTG116A for MIL-STD 461E/F/G, Section CS116.  One was recently ordered by a local test lab!
